Steve Aoki remixes the iconic theme from the 1995 “Ghost In The Shell” anime

Steve Aoki remixes the iconic theme from the 1995 “Ghost In The Shell” anime, along with some new footage from the upcoming live-action GHOST IN THE SHELL feature film, starring Scarlett Johansson as “Mira” (“The Major” - formerly known as "Motoko Kusanagi").

Originally composed by Kenji Kawai, "Making of a Cyborg" is a mixture of Bulgarian harmony and traditional Japanese notes - using the ancient Japanese language of Yamato - with the ethereal and haunting chorals being a “wedding song” sung to dispel all evil influences (Source).

Do troll down to the bottom of this post for a listen at the OG version from the anime opening, AND a orchestra playing the tune, after you’ve heard the hipster/EDM-mix featured up top of this post.
